Eiraku's style includes all ceramic techniques of China, Korea and Japan, which were appreciated at that time, such as Cochin, celadon, blue and white porcelain, Raku-yaki, Shunsui, Akae, Kinrande, Jinsei copies and Goryeo copies...

This japanese antique katazome thick noragi is made by splicing together fabrics from the Edo and Taisho periods. The katazome of the Edo period, hand-spun indigo dyed cotton, is very beautiful. This is a long thick zanshi cotton boro noragi from the Meiji era. The dark indigo shade is the warp, and the white thread is the weft. Thick hand-spun threads are also mixed in the weft. An antique Japanese manju sagemono carved from a stag antler rose. The top showing attributes of the Seven Lucky Gods, the bottom with leaves. Nice patina, the green silk cord is replaced, due of the material the rim section is partially not even. Condition: traces of age. Dimension: diameter: c. 4.6 cm, c. 1.8 cm wide.

19th Century Japanese Boxwood Carved Netsuke of a Naked Man Holding Rock

It is 1.2 inches (3.2 cm) tall and wide. It is 8.2 gram.

It has a small chip at the toe, missing signature cartouche at the bottom, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Round tea bowl of more or less circular shape on a bamboo node foot. Fine cream-colored stoneware with decoration in the form of an abstracted character in slightly raised slip relief on opposite sides of the bowl. The bowl is covered in a light gray glaze on the inside, the outside is covered in a bright copper red glaze, turned brown along the foot.

No potter’s mark, but the bowl has strong resemblances to works by Kawai Kanjiro (1890-1966)...

A Japanese boxwood netsuke depicting a Shishi in a defense posture with jaws wide open and carved with an excellent finish and craftsmanship in the smallest details, accompanied by a blond color and an extraordinary patina and luster. Kara-shishi 唐獅子 (Chinese lion) resembling a lion. It is typically placed to the left of the shrine or temple door. Edo period XIX century Sizes: 3,5 x 3,7 x 2,3 cm. Condition report: Good condition
