An beautifully detailed pottery figure of a MNother with her child, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to late Ming period c. 1550-1600 AD.

The lady is clad in a large thick robe, covering the most of her head, and she is holding a newborn chikd to hear breast. She is standing on a round plint, and the glaze is torquise and dark blue colours.

Nicely painted facial details, careful thick glazing and a fine expression.

A large and high quality Ming Dynasty pottery figure of a warrior probably an officer, dating to 1368-1644.

The figure with many fine details. A high helmet with decorations, the harness is covered with Green and Yellow Sancai colors. Note the lions on the shoulder and shield. He is wearing a sword in his hand. Pigmented colors in red, white, black of which much remains.

A unusually elaborate pair of pottery figures of female Attendants, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to late Ming period c. 1550-1650 AD.



The ladies are dressed large thick robes, with imposing hairdresses. One is wearing af fan, the other is wearing purse in front of her chest. Both are standing on round plints. They are glazed in torqouise and dark blue colours.

A larger elaborate pottery figure of a female Courtisan, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to c. 1550-1600 AD.

A beautiful young woman, seen in motion forward, in an expensive dress, holding a basket, standing on a square plint. She is glazed in fine green and yellow Sancai colors. Beautiful ornate headdress.

This type are the finest and most elegant figures we've had from Ming dynasty, with it's careful thick glazing and finely painted details.

A very nice pair of decorative pottery figures of Soldiers, China, dating to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The soldiers are dressed in dark blue and turqouise glazed uniforms with harness and helmets. Each are carrying a weapon - an axe and a sword. They are placed on square plints. Helmets and boots in pigmented colors.

This figure is dating to the Ming dynasty around 1500 AD. and is very large!. It depicts a exceptionally scultured and detailed horseman - likely a soldier. He is seated on a horse. The soldier is fully glaced with a fantastic lively green jacket which looks like a sort of bodyarmor. The helmet, face and horse are decorated in different colours.

Large Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Camel with Oxford TL Test

This impressive pottery model of a Bactrian camel was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a pale buff-coloured pottery, has good detail and has been "cold painted" in a base coat of a creamy-white pigment with details picked out in brown, red and black pigments. The camel stands upright and alert with its head held high and turned a little to its left. Its two humps are particularly prominent.
