An austere black chawan with a slight of raw black clay at the rim by Shigemori Yoko enclosed in a signed wooden box titled Kuroyu Chawan. As there are no straight lines in nature, there are no straight lined in the work of this artist, here the bowl is set slightly off center on the foot, just enough out of symmetric to match the asymmetrical balance of a Japanese tea room. It is 14 cm (5-1/2 inches) diameter and comes enclosed in a wooden box signed by her brother Naoki.

Chinese antique scroll painting signed by artist Zhang Mu, (1607-1683). The scene is of a group of horses under a tall, moss-draped tree. A small stream flows down the hillside and birds fly in the sky. The horses are especially beautiful - a dappled one prances in the grass. Title of Calligraphy on the upper right side of the painting is titled "Old Tree and Horses".
