This is Mid-18th Century, wonderfully carved Three-case Lacquered Inro inlaid with Porcelain. The inro is contained within a dark brown frame. The porcelain is inlaid in a Mokume bacground, and it depicts the figure of Lao-Tze on the front, and a couple of sages on the back.

A small Chinese blue and white porcelain vase decorated with pagodas in a landscape, dating to the Kangxi period (1662-1722). The mouth and the lid are made of Dutch silver, dating to the 19th C., with sword and another silvermark. Condition: fine, only the lid with two small dents, few traces of age.
