Old Japanese stripe cotton jacket in new condition. Dimensions: 53 1/4" wide x 38 3/4" long
Chinese late Ming (16th/17th century) Zhangzhou (Swatow) porcelain deep charger decorated in iron-red, green, and black overglaze enamels on a cream-colored crackle glaze ground with a central roundel holding flowering peonies. A band containing four floral panels against a crossed line ground extends around the circumference of the rim. 13" diameter x 2 3/4" high. Antique Japanese fabric, Japanese indigo dye (aizome), Katazome stencil dye on loosely woven cotton, flowers in chained fuji (wisteria) Shippo design. Excellent condition (one hole, visible on reverse side). 56" long x 13 1/4" wide.
Thick cotton, Katazome stencil dye, aizome Japanese indigo dye with beni flowers. 70 1/2" x 13". The width changes to 12 1/2 after 39 1/2" where the fabric is torn. One 1/2" round stain (at 20 inches from torn end). Weakened at the seam (visible in some area from reverse side).

Sold to China - April 2011 售至中国 - 2011年4月 A late 19th Century ovoid jar painted, in Yongzheng style, with 'Famille Rose' enamels depicting thirty-five boys in a dragon festival / procession. This item was made in China, possibly for export, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - very good - no damages and no restoration. 20cm (8 inches) high.

This item was made circa 1700-1730, probably for export, during the reign of either the Kangxi or Yongzheng emperor. 18世纪初 镏金描红花草纹瓷盘 约1700-1730 A very interesting set of 5 porcelain bowls with monochrome glaze, marked with maker's mark. China, late Qing or early Republic. H. 6,5 cm, Diameter 11 cm. Condition: small piece of glaze is missing on the inside bottom of the green bowl, the same bowl has a minor glaze imperfection on the outside. The rest of the set is in mint condition.

SOLD. Seated Amida Buddha with hands placed centrally on the lap in the Amida jo-in concentration mudra, joined wood-block construction, lacquer and gilt finish, and the eyes of inset crystal. Very minor old loss, most notably to one of the hoju (sacred jewel) finials on the plinth, with desirable patination overall.

The Kura
Sold, Thank you! A saintly recluse dozes restfully, his pole dipping to the waves below the rocky outcrop upon which he sits; a fine bronze figure dating to the Meiji period and signed on the reverse. The figure with the rock is 32 x 22 x 30.5 cm (11 x 9 x 12 inches) and is in fine condition.

$475.00 This is an fine Japanese Cloisonne Koro in nearly mint condition. It has been used and some of the smoke residue can be seen on the underside of the lid. There are no damages and virtually wear to the gold. The koro stands 4 1/4 inches tall and is 3 1/2 inches wide.

Sold, Thank you! A beautiful Meiji period basin of light weight metal gilded with genuine gold leaf with each individual petal rising to form the fluted rim. Much worn from handling, the bowl measures 25 cm (10 inches) diameter and is 12 cm (5 inches) tall.
