This is impressive kabuki Costume textile of the last part of Edo era.(1800-1867) It is beautiful silk of the dyer's saffron dyeing. A cloud and the applique of the Chinese phoenix which I write the kimono by hand and dyed are on. It has a few stains. However, it does not stand out. It does not have damage and is in a very good state. size:121cm x 130cm (47.6" x 51.2")

A Chinese gaming counter, made for the European market around 1800. Mother of pearl, engraved with scroll work and a star to one side, the other with butterflies. Width "2½/ 6,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Pair of Qilin, a Chinese mythical beast sometimes associated with giraffes or Camelopard. Polychrome glaze on clay, with fine detailing. Bottom of the pair contains a seal reading: Qianlong Nianzhi which would be from the mid to late 18th century. However in reality the piece was made during the 19th century. Bronze covered hibachi by Soho Sunosuke. Bronze lid with image of Chinese lions and peonies surrounded with a karakusa or scroll vine pattern openwork border on the side. The body of the hibachi contain metalwork still lives of herons, mandarin ducks, quails, and pheasants. Bottom of the hibachi contains the signature of Soho Sunosuke. Signature reading: Soho. Forged of steel with rounded rim, the surface lavishly inlaid in gold scroll-work intertwined with silver flowering vines. With hinged buckles. First half of the 19th century. Light wear, two buckles lacking. Overall height 26.7 cm. Condition II

A most unusual square porcelain bowl with scalloped corners. Iy is brightly enameled with a plethora of flowers. Each corner features a bat that symbolizes fortune and good luck. This lovely Chinese bowl is in exceptional shape with minimal wear, no hairlines, chips, and free from restoration. Dated to the late 19th century, it measures 4.5 inches across by 2.25" high.

A very large, exceptionally finely cast, bronze censer in Ming form but with archaic (Zhou) style decoration of Imperial quality. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Ming Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made in China later, during the early 18th Century. A rare mirror black "famille noire" enamelled jar and cover depicting two birds perched on a branch of iron red flowering prunus blossom over green enamelled rockwork. This item is decorated in late Kangxi style (circa 1700-1720) but it was made later, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there is a hairline crack to the cover (please view enlargement 9); the jar itself is in excellent condition with no damages and no restoration. 14.5cm (5.75inches) high.
