Hidden behind the two sliding doors are two small drawers and a split level shelf. Situated below the doors are two side by side drawers for added storage. An antique Japanese Kansai Tansu in an unusual and unique multi-drawer design made of Kirinoki (Paulownia) wood. All original bronze hardware with straight dovetail joinery and using hardened wood nails in its construction. Divided compartment behind the sliding upper doors with wall separator allows for strength on its top where heavy objects can be displayed. Handles were designed in the Hirute style.

A rare and fine QING DYNASTY Chinese Famille Rose BENJARONG Porcelain Jarlet/Washer and wooden stand, specially made for the Thai Royalty and Nobility, 18/19th Century. Chinese etched and carved design of Double Gourd and leaves in the background Brass Lock and heavy Key, Ca. early 1900, 2 3/4" wide, 1 3/4" high, 3/4" deep(outside measurement), 1 3/8" wide(inside opening), hole is less 1/8" diameter round, in working condition, polished with many years of usage naturally original condition, some areas are stained and dark. This lock and key was found in Yunnan Providence in China.

Chinese Brass Lock and Key with signature, early 1900, 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" deep(outside measurement), 1 1/8" wide(inside measurement), stick is 3/16" less than 1/8" diameter round, sort of 3 dimentional shape, in good working condition. There are some interesting embossed and inscribed Chinese design under the old stained Brass in original condition. Thick and large size of the key is very decorative.
