Rare Thai 14th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Celadon Stem Bowl (repaired)

This rare stoneware stem bowl was made at the Sawankhalok kilns around the 14th - 15th century. Both inner and outer surfaces have been profusely decorated with incised bands and lines, with a floral pattern to the inside centre. It is coated with a finely-crackled translucent celadon glaze.

Fine Vietnamese 14th / 15th Century Moulded Bowl

This rare bowl was made during the 14th - 15th century and is coated in a finely-crackled pale greenish glaze, much like a Chinese qingbai type of glaze. Around the centre is a wide unglazed stacking ring around which is a moulded petal pattern. The glaze has run and sagged a little in places and here and there are unintentional iron spots within the glaze.

Fine Vietnamese 14th / 15th Century Moulded Bowl

This rare bowl was made during the 14th - 15th century and is coated in a finely-crackled pale greenish glaze, much like a Chinese qingbai type of glaze. Around the centre is a wide unglazed stacking ring, and around the inner wall are various moulded floral patterns, albeit a little indistinct. Apart from unintentional glaze splashes, the foot remains unglazed revealing the pale grey porcelaneous body.

Vietnamese 15th Century Blue & White Bowl

This bowl was made during the 15th century. It is quite "heavily-potted" and has a high wide foot. It is nicely decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, the colour darker where the glaze is thicker. The pattern comprises floral and lotus leaf patterns, under a crackled glaze. The unglazed inner foot is coated with a chocolate-brown wash.
