This piece was unearthed in Cambodia by the famous researcher Noriki Shimazu and exported to Japan, and there has been used as a tea container in Tea ceremony. A superb quality very large pottery figure of a male attendant or official, dating to the earlier Ming Dynasty, 1400-1500 AD.

The figure is placed on a high hexagonal plint and wears a fine two-colour robe in the green and yellow Sancai Colors. He wears a high, red hat. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white...

A large SONG DYNASTY Period,SAWANGKALOKE-SRICHANALAI SIAMESE-THAI Black-Blue partially glazed Ceramic Bottle, 14-16th Century. It has 2 raised intact nodules to the shoulder as well as horizontal incised ring ribbing towards the top. Size: height 15.5 cm. x 12 cm. diameter. The base measures 7.8 cm. Good overall condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, nor restorations whatsoever. This is definitely a seldom found size for this type of ceramic glazed bottle. A real Collector's item!

Fine Thai Ban Chiang Incised Neolithic Pottery Jar (Ex. Christie's)

This pottery jar of rare form dates to the Ban Chiang period (c. 1500 BC - AD 300). It is heavily-potted with a rounded lower body and a wide flared mouth. The body has been decorated with incised geometric patterns. The surface colour of the pottery varies from a reddish-brown to black due to uneven conditions during firing.

A VERY RARE SONG PERIOD, SAWANGKALOKE-SISACHANALAI, SIAMESE-THAI, IRON BROWN GLAZED SMALL MEDICINE BOTTLE. 14-16th Century. Has 2 intact loops as well as incised ringed ribbing. Good overall condition, no cracks, hairlines nor restorations. One inconsequential nick on the lip. Size: height 8cm. VERY RARE ITEM!
