(Later Le Dynasty, Vietnamese Nha Hau Le, (1428–1788), the greatest and longest lasting dynasty of traditional Vietnam.) The white glazed ceramic censer has a cylindrical body with lappet band above molded trigrams. The vessel is raised on four zoomorphic supports. $245.00 A small 19th century Chinese porcelain joss holder in the form of a seated hound, covered in a mottled dark umber glaze revealing the white beneath in places and patches of light blue on each side. An unusual piece and may be one-of-a-kind, we are dating circa 1900 or a little earlier. On an integral rectangular bracket base, it measures 3.75 inches high, 2.75 long.
