Aged deterioration as is as seen... A small rectangular dish in the form of overlapping trays. Gentle waves and shoreline decorated in underglaze blue (sometsuke) with polychrome enamels used to depict the Momiji of an undulating Maple, shrubbery, and flowers along the outcropping shore. Central flower and scrolling vine pattern to the underside with an unusual diaper pattern to the footrim.
