A small rectangular dish in the form of overlapping trays. Gentle waves and shoreline decorated in underglaze blue (sometsuke) with polychrome enamels used to depict the Momiji of an undulating Maple, shrubbery, and flowers along the outcropping shore. Central flower and scrolling vine pattern to the underside with an unusual diaper pattern to the footrim.

An early Imari ewer in with Celadon glaze. Barrel shaped with lobed sides and bamboo knot for spout. With lacquered Jidaibako for storage. Excellent condition as seen in the photos with only minor glaze fault to the underside. A similar example exhibited at the Kyushu Ceramic Museum in 2009.

Suiteki, a water dropper finely cast in bronze in the shape of a gourd, with a snake coiled on one side. Signed Masayuki. Period: Edo, 19th century Dimensions: 7 x 9 x 9 cm Condition: Excellent condition. Minor wear to the patina consistent with age.

The mount is made of iron chiseled with dragons among clouds, the details are in nunome zogan (damascened). It should be noted that the gold layer used is very thick, which is unusual. The overall quality is beautiful. The blade is heavy, 31mm wide and very thick, 8mm near the tip. It is deeply oxidized, scratched in places, but has not been repolished and retains its temper line.
