A bold flower vessel by Murakoshi Takuma covered in rich green Kunugi Ash and enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Hai-yu Tobe! (Fly). It is 40.5 x 15.5 x 21.5 cm (16 x 6 x 8-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition, directly from the artist this winter.

SOLD A vintage Japanese Aritaware umbrella stand in a cylindrical hexagon shape. Blue and white porcelain with Sometsuke landscape scenes of six different scenes. Its heavy weight suggests being heavily potted prior to firing.
Age: 1950's Dimensions: 33" high by 10 1/4" diagonal diameter. A Frankenstein chawan bowl made up of variously textured shards of porcelain put together with gold in the Kintsugi style by rising star Hori Takaharu enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is 14 x 15.5 x 7.5 cm (5-1/2 x 6 x 3 inches).
Hori Takaharu was born in Tokyo in 1996. He Graduated from Aichi Prefecture Seto Ceramics High School in 2016 and entered the Udatsuyama Artist Research center, where he lived and worked for five years... A beautifully rendered tea bowl with thick sides covered in crimson tinged glaze blotted with patches of snow white by veteran Mino pottery Kobayuashi Takeharu (born 1943) enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled simply Shino Chawan.
