$250.00 Fairly large sake bottle of dark brown stoneware, with an angular hip, rounded shoulder and slightly everting neck. Its shoulder and neck covered in a yellow and greenish natural ash glaze.
Bizen ware. Impressed seal mark in bottom. Japan, Showa era, ca. 1970s H 8.1 in.; diam. 5.4 in. Excellent condition A small Imari porcelain teapot of rectangular form with an arch-shaped handle ending in a blossom. Beautifully decorated with a hare and a dragon in a cartouche between flowery motifs in iron red, green, yellow and gold, the top with auspicious longevity characters in underglaze blue. The flat base without glaze. Condition: fine, only the knob of the lid with a tiny loss. Dimension: c. 14.6 cm high, 12.5 cm long.

This is beautiful Japanese Shaku (Jue) Koro by Shou. Koro was made by same type fine quality crackle glaze earthen ware as Kyoto Awata Yaki or Kyoto Satsuma pieces. The Koro has intricately made with work around the body.
