Two Tibetan stem platters for ritual offerings, made from hardwood with metal sheet. The center decorated with a wheel, one of the eight Buddhist Symbols. Torma are cone shaped ritual food offerings sculpted in a variety of shapes and sizes, mostly made of flour and butter. Condition: traces of usage, one piece with an old repair (was broken in two). Dimension: diameter: c. 19 cm, height: 6 cm and 7.3 cm, weight: 1200 g.

Finely cast small statue of Green Tara, wearing diadem jewelry and dhoti, sitting in regal repose on a double lotus throne, her left hand holding a lotus flower. Tibet, 19the century. Height: 4 cm. Slight erosion on the gliding, otherwise very good condition.

Indra is sitting in "vajrasana" on a lotus throne, his left hand resting on his knee , his right hand in "vitarka mudra". Thin, double-edged blade engraved with patters similar to foliage, base with one blade per each side, sharpened and with the same decoration. Bone grip and scabbard (parts missing) engraved with figures, animals and floral motifs, metallic mounts decorated with animals and floral motifs. Band with suspension ring similar to those of kindjal. Persia, circa 1900 length 59.5 cm.

The grip carved of elephant, bolsters lacking. The single-edged blade with gilt panels, signed AMAL ABDALLAH (Work of Abdallah) with upswept tip and showing evidence of wootz damascus steel. Tibetan Himalayan low grade large Hard Silver Belt Buckle, Ca. 1930's, 11 1/2" wide, 3 3/4" high, 1 3/4" deep, slightly curved to fit the shape of the front part of the waist, and high relief deep hand hammered and impressed design of double goats in the center with three(3) inlaid turquoise stones, large loose ring is attached on the bottom and two(2) hooks are located on the back inside. The condition is good, no damages.

The size of Covered Box: 2 15/16" Dia x 5" High Box alone, 6 3/4" High with wooden stand. Stand 4 1/8" Square. The covered box is made with Soap Stone carved around the box with Elephant design. 1/8" depth carved. Two little elephant on top as knob. they are also carved from soap stone. The condition of Box and cover excellent condition. Very little wear. The stand has one little cut error on one corner. It is made in India. The age of item from 1960-1970's.

In Tibetan Buddhism, the Kartika, or Drigug, is a ritual flaying knife used in burial rituals, with the handle crafted as a dorje. A tool of the wrathful female deities known as Dakinis, the kartika symbolizes the cutting of all things material, symbolized by the human body. The blade is left dull (never sharpened) because it was used in a ritual representing the flaying of flesh and not for the actual purpose.

Jambala (Tibetan: Dzambhala) is the Tibetan God of wealth and appropriately a member of the Jewel family. He comes in many forms and in this Jambala is in its “white form” and holds a trident and a scepter rides on a Makara (sea creature). Antique Korean porcelain bottle of an octagonal faceted form, with long neck fluting slightly at the rim, covered in a translucent crackle white celadon glaze. The foot is deeply recessed with buff edges.

Large snuff bottle, made of silver, of circular and flat shape, lavishly decorated with animal, floral and geometric design on one side and foliage, lotus and geometric design on the other side. Tiny silver stopper at the end of a small spout on top of the bottle. Opening on one side to allow access to the tobacco powder, with relief stylised lotus decor, on one of the two sides. Fine patina. Tibet, 19th century. Height: 11 cm. Very good cndition.

A pair woman's Paduka in fish form, made of hardwood and inlaid with brass wire. Base inscribed "Hindu bath sandals" and "Anna Broadwood". Condition: few traces of usage, a short section with missing wire (see picture no. 2).
