The detacheable central Tirthankara surrounded by other Tirthankaras, two elephants holding his princely parasol, his throne supported by two lions. On the back there is a lengthy inscription, holding the date 1674 in Samvat, which is 1617 in the Western calendar. The shrine is inlaid all over with silver. H. 28 cm, W. 19 cm. Condition: some old damage and an old repair to the thinly cast back of the stand. Otherwise in wonderful original condition.

A similar huqqa base in the book "Bidri Ware, inlaid metalwork from India" by Susan Stronge is dated in the first half of the 18th century. H. 18 cm. Diameter 16 cm. Very good condition with the inlay intact.

The central head is that of a buffalo, the top one represents Manjushri. Fire gilt bronze with turquoise and blood coral. Tibet, 18/19th. century. Sealed and in excellent condition. Height 22 cm. 18 cm. wide and 8.8 cm. deep.

Nice detailed statue of Bhudevi, one of the two manifestations of Lakshmi and one of the two consorts of Vishnu. She stands in the tribhanga position, holding a blue lotus in her right hand. Her left arm shows the lolahasta mudra (tail of a cow). Her divinity is indicated by the hallow or srichakra on the back of her head. In very good condition, the bronze is of high quality and has a beautiful patina. India, 16/17th. century. Height 15 cm.
