Classic Liao 916CE–1125CE (aka Khitan) brown glazed sancai bottle. The Liao were a non-Han nomadic people, so the shape of this bottle resembles a leather flask that would be used by a culture on horseback. There are some kiln scars on the handle where it had come into contact with another piece during firing, which is a common feature from this genre of ware. Otherwise perfect condition, the glaze stable with a rich color. H: 28cm/11.4in and D:14cm/4.8in.

Chinese Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain Dish (Boys) with Mark

This attractively-decorated dish was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing dynasty. The underglaze blue decoration features five boys in a garden, either playing or practicing fighting moves. It has a foliated rim and a fluted wall. Within a double blue circle to the base is the four-character Kangxi reign mark.
