A quite rare blue and white Yuhuchunping with fine balance potted, decorated with vividly white flower scrolls on full of waves pattern to whole body, lotus leaf panels surrounded to inner rim. Condition is re-stuck and re-glued with associated tiny chip to rim side, further is very good condition considering as 14th century vase Late Yuan to Early Ming Dynasty. Height: 28,8 cm.

Fine Chinese Sui / Tang Dynasty Glazed Pottery Figure

This very nicely-detailed pottery figure was made during the Sui Dynasty (AD 581 - 906), or possible the early part of the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a relatively highly-fired creamy-white pottery that has been coated in an attractive pale, slightly greenish, yellow glaze that is very finely-crackled. There are also traces of the original "cold painted" red and black pigments in places...

Gray silk embroidered in "petit-point" on a background of blue and white clouds. In the center, a flying bird looks at a sun embroidered in red. The bird is probably a pheasant, which is sewn with gold thread. The pheasant badge was worn by civil dignitaries of the 7th rank. 19th-century Chinese work.
