A nicely carved very light pale celadon jade monkey on a bamboo swing that would make a nice pendant. This monkey is very life-like with a lot of character representing the year of the monkey. Size: H. 4cm. W. 3.2cm. Condition: Perfect.

A pair of unusual late 19th Century relief moulded cylindrical shaped hat stands painted with panels depicting gentlemen with attendants in a garden landscape, the borders are decorated with Buddhistic precious objects and flower sprays reserved against a yellow ground. On the base is the four character iron red seal mark of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). These are probably Nyonya wares, made for export to the Malaysian "Straits Chinese" community ...

A six-sided porcelain wine pot warmer painted in Qianjiang style with a scene on one side from a Chinese opera relating to stories from the Three Kingdoms period. On the other side is a poem which we have, as yet, been unable to read. It is signed and dated to 1903. Condition - very good - there are glaze imperfections and there are two chips to the base rim (please view enlargement 2); no further damages and no restoration...

A cup and saucer and an additional cup, all three with overglaze iron red landscapes and houses in European style. China, c 1800 or earlier. Diameter of saucer "5 ½ / 14 cm, height of cups "2 / 5 – 5.2 cm. Condition: cups with rim chips, the back of the saucer with a hairline.

Figure of Li Teguai / Li T’ieh-Kuai, one of the eight Chinese immortals. Biscuit, enamelled in the Famille rose palette except for the naked parts which are painted in a matted skin shade. Unmarked, probably c 1900. Height "5 /12.5 cm. Condition: a glaze flake to the red part of the cloud, otherwise fine.

Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Double Happiness Ginger jar with old top, Ca. 1900, later part of 1800 to up to 1900, 8" high, 7 1/2" wide-middle section, with typical design of underglaze blue double happiness character among the scrolling vines and snow peas floral decoration. The cover is fitted inside the jar top rim, the decoration of blue continued all the way to the top of the rim on the main body, and some black ink writings under the top...

Two old hair ornaments from China, made of a gilt silver alloy, with carved leaf-shaped jade top. One marked "14K". Condition: few traces of usage, gilding worn. Dimension: c. 11.8 cm and 9.6 cm long.

Antique Chinese small porcelain plate from the Yuan Dynasty. The body of the plate has a foliate form with scalloped rim, white glaze. The entire foot is left unglazed and is slightly recessed.

Chinese Neolithic tripod earthenware ewer (gui) of the Dawenkou culture (4th-3rd millennium BCE) meant for use in religious ceremonies. The vessel has a flared, upwards pointing mouth with a single ribbed handle on its back, ribbing along the body's edges, and its tripod legs are dramatically tapered to the feet.
