An antique statue of Li Tieguai resting with one foot on a crutch and holding a gourd, carved from a large bamboo piece with nice patina. One of the eight immortals of the Chinese Taoist pantheon. Condition: the hand holding the gourd and the crutch around the foot with glue residue. Dimension: c. 34.5 cm high. Sold, Thank you very much Well balance potted small pear shaped ewer with thinly transparent body, lobed side to the body. Covered overall with greenish glazed. Condition is perfect, no any chips, no any cracks and free from any restoration. Southern Song or later to Yuan Dynasty. Height: 13,8 cm
A fine cricket cage, composed of a body made from a gourd and a rim and lid made of ivory. The lid itself is nicely carved to represent a lotus and foliage around surmounting an openwork geometric design. Its silk case, partly damaged, is joined to the cage. China, 19th century. Length: 7.8 cm. Very good condition.
Width approximately 29.5 cm (across the handles). There are few soft chips at the handle. More pictures are available. In good condition.
Height approximately 28 cm. There was a chip at the rim and repaired. There is a hairline. In good condition.
Height approximately 11.8 cm. There are some parts missing glaze. In good condition.

SOLD Antique Chinese branch coral carving of a beautiful maiden. She stands holding a vase with peonies. Her hair is pulled up into a high bun on which is perched a bird. Her robes flow around her and she stands on a rocky out cropping. The coral is perfectly balanced on an ornately carved hardwood base.

This impressive and detailed pottery model of a horse and rider was made during the Ming Dynasty (AD 1368 - 1644). It has been coated in green, amber and black glazes. The rider's head has been made separately and has been "cold-painted" in black and white pigments: the head fits into a slot in the neck of the rider. SOLD A Ming Blue and White porcelain Kaiseki dish made for the Japanese Market, Late Ming, Transitional Period, Chongzhen 1628-1644. Decorated with the Three Friends of Winter, Pine, Bamboo and Prunus. The gnarled pine tree in the center is twisted to form a Chinese `Shou` character meaning Luck and Blessings. The border is of informal scrolling plants including Lingzhi fungus.
