A Chinese SONG YUAN DYNASTY (960-1297) Celadon Bowl swiftly incised with a rare butterfly-like design/pattern. The foot of the bowl remains unglazed and has some original soil deposit as this is a river find. Very fine condition, no chips, hairlines, restorations nor repairs. Size: 17 cm diameter (6.75"diameter). Nice collector's piece!

First half of the 20th century-made with natural undyed local cotton with the pattern with made from floss silk supplementary brocade weft symbols of phoenix, flowers and butterflies, and is in perfect condition with no holes or tears.
