Chinese Ming dynasty Longquan celadon dish or brush washer decorated with a carved flower at the center. The foot rim is glazed, and the unglazed base has burnt red from firing. 4 3/4” diameter x 1 3/8” high. Circa 15th to 16th century. Very good overall condition with only typical minor wear and fine scratches to the glaze. There is a small production anomaly to the rim and another to the back of the dish...

This candlestick, of exceptional dimensions, was part of the decoration of the altar of a temple or a palace. It is made of cast lead and partially gilded on red and green lacquer. Exagonal shape. The partly openwork decoration mainly represents flower vases, but also stylized dragons, bats, flowers and coins. Some friezes of the upper edges are unsoldered, but the candlestick is complete, only a vase motif is missing from one of the 24 panels. The top shaft, candle holder is twisted and cracked...

Chinese Yuan / Early Ming Dynasty Underglazed Cover (for a "Yuxi" jar)

This impressive cover for a large jar, probably a granary, was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) or possibly the Ming Dynasty. It has an underglazed decoration and was made at the kilns at Yuxi in Yunnan province, one of the first places in China where underglazed blue & white ware was produced. It is decorated with a basic floral pattern.

A rare blue and white offering dish with thinly potted in flower shaped, decorated with pattern of double wild goose among chrysanthemum flowers and classic scrolls surrounded around the rim. Condition is very good, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Yuan Dynasty 14th Century. Diameter: 16,1 cm.
