Statue of Duowen Tian Wang, the Heavenly King of the North, elaborately dressed, wearing a diadem, holding the end of a ribbon with his left hand and a Buddhist scepter resting on a lotus in his right hand. The statue is standing on an square pedestal. The piece was originally lacquered, painted and gilt. Part of the lacquering is flaked, revealing the bronze oxydation. The statue was cast in China during the early Qing Dynasty, in the 18th century. Height: 37 cm. Very good condition.

Rare Chinese Eastern Han Dynasty Incised Pottery Jar

This very rare and unusual vessel was made during the latter part of the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and most likely comes from the south central region of China. It is made from a sandy-yellow high-fired pottery, almost like stoneware, and is of cylindrical form with the wide mouth tapering in. Around the shoulder are four sturdy horizontal loop handles. Heavy and solidly potted Chinese Qing dynasty baluster form porcelain jar decorated in the transitional style in underglaze blue with lotus flower heads among dense scrolling foliage set against a white ground. A border extends around the short, white glazed upright neck. The interior is fully glazed. 19th century. 12” high. Weighs 8 lbs. Very good overall condition. Large Chinese Ming / Yuan Dynasty Longquan Celadon Porcelain Dish with Peony Pattern

This large and "heavily-potted" dish was made in the 14th century at one of the Longquan kilns in Zhejiang province, during the Yuan (AD 1279 - 1368) or early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It is the archetypal large Longquan celadon dish, an example of which should really be in every serious collection of Chinese ceramics.
