This Chinese porcelain dish is decorated with a lakeside landscape painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The rim is decorated with flowers and fruit drawn with great care. Although this dish was certainly intended for export, its quality is unusual. Indeed, Chinese export porcelains are of mediocre quality with sloppy designs, especially in blue and white...
