The wood is very heavy, shaded with dark brown, black and red, naturally, without having been stained. The grain is fine and tight. Rosewood or Sandalwood? The trunk was hollowed out with a small "hole saw". This pot was purchased in the 90s. A photo shows it "in situ" in 2016...
