A lidded brass box, made around 1900, Chinese. Small brass medallions with auspicious flowers and birds have been soldered on to the box, and to the front are two enamel and copper medallions with cranes. One medallion is of the shou symbol surrounded by bats. The wooden lining suggests that the box was used for cigars. The back with stamped mark CHINA. Nice format, width "5 ¼ / 13.3 cm, height "2 / 5 cm. Condition: fine.

Rare and endearing figure of a young boy disciple of Quanyin (the Goddess of Compassion) wearing a garment etched with a lotus flower - the symbol of Buddhism. He is often depicted near Quanyin with his hands in reverential prayer. The bronze is heavily cast and has wires imbedded underneath the pedestal, perhaps for attaching to a group of figures. Antique Chinese bronze mirror. The front is decorated with motifs of birds, squirrels, and grapes in high relief. The largest center squirrel is pierced through for attaching to a silk cord. The opposite side is a flat and smooth mirror surface in deep shades of green and black. Original patina. Possible Han Period.

A large 19th century Chinese Tibetan bronze vessel featuring a frog design and a beautiful warm patina. In excellent condition, it is has been in the same family since purchased and has been well cared for. Measures 11.5 inches high x 7.5" across.

Archaic bronze lidded ritual food vessel on three legs (Ding). The body is round in form and divided into banded areas of detailed interlocking cloud and thunder motif. The band closest to the rim curves inward before flanging out again. There are two animal headed looped handles cast on either side. The three feet are squat and curved with cast details like those on the handles. The lid is similarly divided into banded areas to match the body...

Chinese 18th Century bronze censer. The base cast with a sixteen-character inscription incorporating an apocryphal Xuande date, reading Da Ming Xuande wunian Jiandu Gongbu guanchen Wu Bangzuo zao (Made by Wu Bangzuo, supervisor of the Ministry of Works, in the 5th year of Xuande of the Great Ming). 16,5 cm diameter.2048 gram weight. Censer has smooth dent (please see on the picture) No crack or repair. original patina.

Chinese bronze 3 piece figure of a donkey and rider. The old man rider holds a scepter in his hands. His hat may be removed and incense placed inside his head, so the smoke would billow out from the front. On hardwood display stand with scroll legs.
