$950.00 The censer has a compressed globular or rounded body, supported by three short feet, with two handles, a style rooted in ancient Chinese ritual vessels. The body is covered with dark patina and decorated with intricate silver inlays of two shishi dogs or lions on both sides amid mountainous landscape and clouds.

Circa 1900. Very good overall condition with a nice patina. Typical production imperfections.

Sold This is a reticulated miniature bronze brush pot, likely from the Chinese Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). It is of cylindrical form, featuring reticulated (pierced) sides. The decoration depicts cranes amidst swirling mist and clouds. The rim features a meander-pattern (Greek key) band, and the foot has a border of waves and clouds.
