Pair of Chinese Silver Enamel Vase with Flower Marked Beijing, Early 20th Century

They are 10.5 inches (26.6 cm) tall by 5.1 inches (13 cm) wide. They are 53.8 oz. (3.5 Lb).

They are in good condition with no repairs, chips, or cracks except loss of enamel, tarnished, and dents at the sides and the base (as seen in the photos).

Description:

A bronze Buddha of Ming Dynasty was well preserved with fine gilding condition on the surface.
By darken sheen and with very limited abrasion on the ridges of the carvings, the Buddha was kept in a perfect condition except loss of the undercover.
Red protection slip was painted inside the hollowed inner side.

Date: Ming Dynasty,1368-1644.

AN ELEGANT CHINESE PAKTONG TOBACCO PIPE, 19THC

The pipe looks a little like yellow brass in some pictures but this is a result of recent tarnishing, perhaps I should have polished it a little before taking the photographs. The base has an engraved inscription. 19th century I suspect. Especially nice is the cloud collar and the subtle shape of the base, almost peach-shape in section.

Unusually large Tibetan copper and silver or silverplate mihrab form reliquary, or portable shrine box, decorated in repousse on the cover with a pattern of abstract scrolls. The back, sides, and side handles are copper. Also called a “gau,” these prayer boxes were used to hold protective amulets, personal deities, and written prayers. Description: A fine bronze casting work of a sage riding on a standing deer. By dark patina, the figure and the deer were depicted in details by great craftsmanship. They were hollow cast and sealed and being reserved no casting holes. In a perfect condition, the bronze piece would be a joyful addition to your collection of Chinese bronzes. This antique Chinese Minority silver necklace depicts a boy riding a large Kylint. The medallion measures 3.5" wide x 2.5" high, including and the bells measures 5" high. Excellent detailing.

A brass four prong dorje from Tibet. The primary symbol and ritual implement used in Tantric Buddhism, also know as a vajra. It can be translated as "diamond" or "thunderbolt". Age: Pre 1920. Size: L. 12cm. W. 4.3cm. Condition: Perfect.

Of circular form, with a pedestal foot, with side lion-mask handles, decorated with carved designs of animals in continuous panels along the rim of the exterior, the foot decorated with openwork and carved floral design.

An unusual divided double brass cricket cage with a glass front. The top of the case has the symbol etched in for prosperity. The glass divider in the case is missing but can easily be replaced. Age. Mid 19th century. Size: H. 7cm. W. 10.5cm. Condition: No repairs.
