This attractive small porcelain dish was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing dynasty. The decoration features a lady and a boy playing in a garden. The rim is decorated with geometric and floral patterns. Around the underside rim are four "precious objects". To the base is the four-character mark of the earlier Ming dynasty Chenghua reign (1465 - 1487).

This fine porcelain vase, or bottle, was made in the 18th century during the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912). It is "heavily-potted" and coated in a thick glaze. The attractive underglaze blue decoration is of a riverside scene featuring buildings, tress with hills in the background. It has a bulbous ring near the top of the neck and a flared mouth. Around the rim is a iron-brown wash to prevent "fritting" of the glaze during firing...

Classic Liao 916CE–1125CE (aka Khitan) brown glazed sancai bottle. The Liao were a non-Han nomadic people, so the shape of this bottle resembles a leather flask that would be used by a culture on horseback. There are some kiln scars on the handle where it had come into contact with another piece during firing, which is a common feature from this genre of ware. Otherwise perfect condition, the glaze stable with a rich color. H: 28cm/11.4in and D:14cm/4.8in.
