A rare small wine cup painted with stylized lotus scrolls in underglaze blue. The base carries the six character mark of the Guangxu emperor and it was made during his reign (1875-1908). One of a group of very large Ming Dynasty pottery horse riders.

The figure is of a military attendant, wearing a hat and carrying a book or an instrument in his hands. He wears a blue robe with turqoise sleaves. Thick and very beautyful glaze. The unglazed areas are covered with white and black pigmented colors.

Note that the painting is very detailed and the perfectly rendered facial features.

Rare Chinese Neolithic Pottery Footed Jar - Caiyuan Culture (c. 2600 - 2200 BC) 

This very rare and unusually-shaped pottery jar was made some 4,000 years ago by peoples of the Caiyuan Culture (c. 2600 - 2200 BC) and has been excavated from the Ningxia Autonomous Region in the north of China. It is finely-potted with a wide body and two loop handles. The body stands on an integral foot that is pierced with three circular holes. It has a very smooth burnished surface...

Antique Chinese porcelain bowl, of an oval form with ribbed sides and a famille rose color palette. The yellow sides are incised with various Chinese inscriptions in blue glaze while several key characters are glazed in red. The foot is tall and deeply recessed with a red seal of Daoguang (1821-1850). The bowl is placed within a dramatic metal display of a fleur de lys design, raising it on narcissus style legs.

A fine Qing Dynasty, Tongzhi period (1861-1875) bowl with a unique shape and vivid colors inside and out. Artistic and finely distinct embossed painted design on the exterior of the bowl.

Chinese Song Dynasty black glazed Pottery Jar, 13th to 14th century, 3 1/2" high, 5" wide-widest part in the middle, 2 7/8" diameter-top rim, with dark brownish black glaze. The unglazed bottom section is rounded and smooth and has incised small marks and drawings-see photos. there are few frits on the bottom.

Four(4) pieces of Chinese Black glazed Pottery Artifacts, Song Dynasty, 13th to 14th century, taller vase-2 7/8" high, smaller jar-1 5/8" high, dish-3 1/8" diameter, 1" high, bead-2" long, 7/8" wide. Very small frits on taller vase, no other damages.

A rather unusual glazed Chinese yixing tea pot. Traditionally, mixing tea posts are unglazed and this pot combines unglazed sections, such as the interior and the glazes that encompass the exterior side of the pot. The pot contains a seal on both the undersides of the lid and pot, of the maker attributing to Zhao Jingnan.
