Several blue rings encircle both the rim and foot. A circular panel in the well holds another Sanskrit character above a flower. Likely 17th century. 5 3/4” diameter x about 2 1/2" high. An antique Chinese pair of Fu Dogs made in a cream crackle glaze. Fierce yet mildly domesticated design. Male holds a sphere shaped ball which represents the protection of the world while the female holds her playful pup which represents the strong family unit. Heavy porcelain with felt base.

Price on Request A rare and quite large Ming Dynasty 15th Century Interregnum period blue and white Guan Jar decorated with figure of the wise man and childrens, wind sweep, tree flanked by four animals to the shoulder and lotus leaf to the bottom. Condition is very good excepted tiny flake chips to the mouth rim and minor glazed hairline, no any restoration. Ming Dynasty Zhendong-Jingtai-Thianshun or they called it as dark period in the history of Ming Dynasty. Height: 31,5 cm.

Rare Tang Dynasty glazed saucer from the Gongxian kiln Henan, China. This has bell like tone when tapped. There is a repaired chip on the rim (noted in enlargements) tiny fritting on glaze. D: 13.2cm/5.4in and H: 2.3cm/0.7in. Looks like the moon.
