Antique Chinese Yixing snuff bottle of fine porous unglazed body of 'purple clay'. It's front side a landscape scene in white slip and back side with a prunus floral design, sides with pierced handles. Red agate and bronze ring cap cover. Good condition with impressed seal on inset bottom.

Charming antique Chinese roof tile of horseman in colorful glazed costume riding a galloping horse. Harmonious glazed colors of turquoise, blues, green, mustard yellow, and browns used on the creamy body of rider and horse. Hollow body and mounted on a metal stand.

In Changsha kiln, undergalze painted works are created Tang Dynasty 9th century world first.And also it is known that many of them are painted by iron and copper as coloring agent. So they are very variable, This ball was refloated from Chinese wrecked ship at Java offshore. The peeling off of glaze are recognized at several parts on the edge, and no repair or no re-burned. A beautiful authentic Western Han pottery cocoon jar in the shape of a silkworm cocoon. The outer surface is embellished with the original painted abstract banding and scrolling designs in pigments of dark and light brick reds, grey blue, and white. Size: H. 28cm.L. 31cm. A pair of nicely formed hollow glazed pottery birds. Both have round plump figures and lots of character. The darker bird has two glazes - a brown splash of glaze that runs over a straw glaze. The lighter bird has a celadon colored glaze. The glaze on both birds have a very fine crackle.

A very large museum quality blue cobalt Jar. It is very, very rare to find this type of vase in cobalt blue, especially in this size and condition. The center of the vase has a relief of a dragon chasing the elusive flaming pearl. Size: H. 92.8cm. W. 46cm. Condition: Very good with no repairs or missing parts. One side has some calcification from being buried for a long time. It show up more in the photo than it actually is.

A nice rare scalloped Liao plate, boldly incised with blossoms and leaves, under a cream and bright leaf green and amber glaze. Comes with a certificate from the Chinese Government Auction House. Size: Diameter. 13.5cm. Condition: A broken piece at the rim that was glued back on probably at the site. It is almost invisible on the front of the plate. See photos.

Two rare turquoise glazed foo lion candle holders of the Ming dynasty, these are not the typical joss stick holders, for reference of this type, please refer to the book " Song dynasty ceramics" by Rose Kerr. Shown on page 57 fig. 53, is a candlestick in the form of a lion, though dated 12th-13th century, the spouted form atop the backside of the lion renders it a candlestick. In good condition with minor chips and grazing of the glaze, all commiserate with age. They measure 6 inches high...

A rare Chinese large jar.These jars were originally used for storage of food for trading ships. They were eventually traded to the natives in Southeast Asia, mainly Borneo, and were highly prized. The center of the vase has a relief of two dragon with white claws. Size: H. 70 cm. W.46 cm. Condition: Very good with no repairs.

A very large authentic Tang tomb guardian wearing a typical warrior's uniform standing on an evil earth creature with remains of the original pigments. The guardian was there to protect the tomb from these evil creatures. The item was found with its parts separated.Large statues like this were made in several parts. See last photo.
