A beautiful large matching pair of Ming attendants. It is unusual and rare to find a matching pair of a male and female attendants with a beautiful matching three color glaze. The expressions are very real and natural. Both original heads are removable.The heads are removable from the bodies because they are molded to look like the actual attendants that took care of the deceased. Size: Male H.46cm. Female H. 44cm. A very rare sancai original, three color, glazed Tang duck cup probably used for drinking rice wine. Three colors with some blue cobalt. Tang authentic pottery plate with a sancai-glazed inner and outer rim. The alternating and flowing green and ochre/brown glazes give beauty to the simple form of the plate. Under magnification, the glaze shows very fine crackle and the edge of the glaze is iridescent.

A well made Tang dragon handle vase .The vase has two well made dragon handles with a gargoyle type face on the body of the vase with an unusual glaze. Size: H.30cm. W. 17cm.

A nicely shaped large Yuan Dynasty incenser in light green celadon glaze with ribbing design to exterior. Lovely Song Dynasty brown straw glaze jar with four ears. The jar is thin walled and nicely shaped and proportioned. There is expected ware to glaze, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. A nice stout wine jug with two handles at the wide shoulders. The two handles have deliberate cuts at the tops, probably to tie rope for securing the stopper. The brownish black glaze covers the jar to about 2.5 cm from the bottom.

Condition: A couple of tiny glaze chips at the mouth's rim. The glaze is not degraded and still has a nice gloss.

An original natural pigment pottery figure of a standing court lady wearing a short-sleeved tunic over a robe with long sleeves. Her interesting looped hairdo is parted into two bunches that rest atop the sides of her head. The figure has most of the original pigments, some of which have worn off over the years.Very difficult to find one that has not been restored.
