Antique Japanese small bronze suiban for flower or rock arrangements. Cast with designs of irises on two sides, the ends have bronze handles in the shape of knotted chord. Stands on four small feet.

An early Arita porcelain bowl made for export to the Far East. The decoration is based on a Ming Chinese dragon & phoenix bowl, the interior with a fish rising from waves. A Japanese Kutani Moriage decorated figure of Hotei, one of the "Seven Gods of Good Luck" and also known as the "Happy God". He always carries the cloth bag that never empties, a walking stick to support the heavy bag, and the Chinese wish giving fan. He is also the patron saint of barkeepers. This Hotei is very large measuring about 17" tall x 10" wide, he weighs about 12 pounds, and he has the Kutani nine valleys mark on the base. We are dating this Hotei as Circa 1950...

A pair of antique Japanese candlesticks dating to the Meiji period 1868-1911. The stands are made of copper and measure about 17 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" in diameter, across the weighted bottoms. The stands have been engraved with an assortment of family mons, both on the bases, and up the sticks. The condition is very good. There are no dents or broken pieces, and a dark patina has developed over the years. The asking price includes shipment within the USA.

Japanese Meiji period well rendered Kutani porcelain figure of Kannon, decorated in polychrome enamel and gilt highlight. She sits holding a scroll in her left hand and her face is well modeled with a serene, downcast expression. A gold jeweled necklace hangs from her neck and she wears a white hooded robe permeated with tiny white raised moriage dots and decorated with green dragon roundels. Flat unglazed base. 10 1/2” high. Late 19th century. Heavily potted. Weighs 3 lbs...

A rare Japanese Sometsuke Mukozuke dish, the design of a partially folded fan taken directly from Chinese porcelain made especially for export to Japan during the late Ming Dynasty, Tianqi Period, 1621-1627. Modeled in the form of a partially unfolded fan and decorated with a figure on a riverbank, the river and a solitary boat before him. The naturalistic modeled back is plain and has three thickly potted circular feet...

Japanese hand Hammered Copper Tetsubin, Tea Kettle, Tea Pot, signed, 1930's, 11" high include handle up, 9" wide include spout, with etched design of Butterfly and Lotus flower inside the fan shape Cartouche, spout has closed hinged top to keep hot tea or hot water warm for longer period of time. Handle can be placed down and up, slight dents shows on the both sides.

Chirimen (crepe) silk kimono imprinted with Okinawa bingata design of irregular bands of flowers and plants of the seasons, in roundels, on waves, on vines etc. The outlines and basic forms are in brown, ochre and brown-red, while the flowers and leaves are colored in the red, yellow, green, and purple. Along the bottom is a band of stylized waves in red and brown.

On the inside white silk or rayon lining in top half...
