It is 10.1 inches (25.7 cm) tall measured with stand by 6.65 inches (17 m) wide. It is 2.1 Lb. It has chips at the tail, small bent at the tip of the tail, enamel cracks at tail & rock, missing enamels, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos). Our Guarantee: We stand behind all of the items that we sell... Small Indian bronze, cast in one piece depicting Vishnu standing on a Lotus base. The four-armed Hindu god is holding the conch and the chakra. Karnataka / Maharashtra. Condition: fine, few traces of usage, patina. Dimension: 17.8 cm high.

Conservatoire Sakura
sold Incense burner in copper alloy (cast bronze and embossed and cut brass). Oriental work from the 19th century or before. Probably Ottoman but maybe Syrian? The hinge was consolidated by a riveted piece of metal and one of the three feet was replaced as one of the photos shows? The three legs are fixed to the base by a system of finely executed 'butterfly' nuts. The assembly is slightly twisted as can be seen in the photos. Height: 25cm Diameter: 20cm

Oval portrait of a young Indian woman, painted on paper in watercolor with white highlights. With velvet covered passe-partout and mounted behind glass in a later European frame. Signed "S.B. Rawoot" and dated 1/7/16 in red. Dimension: painting: c. 27.5 cm x 18.5 cm, frame 41.6 cm x 34.7 cm. Condition: slightly faded, frame with few traces of usage.

Virabhadra, incarnation of Shiva, is often depicted in solid bronze plaques. This one however is remarkably fine, with its delicate openwork. It dates from the 16th century, possibly earlier and was made in West India. It has a warm brown patina and appropriate age wear. There is a very old repair just above the small figure on the left. Height 26 cm (the sculpture), 32 cm including the stand.

The scabbard/sheath and handle/blade are intricately and very finely inlaid with Gold and Silver detailing designs. The wonderfully shaped handle is exquisitely hand crafted as a 3-dimensional Lion's head. The dominant dense Pamor pattern of the blade resembles irregular annual rings of a tree trunk. This dagger comes with the original scabbard which is very rare in antique daggers. Very good condition...
