Two lidded jars with Qingbai and Jizhou glazes and terra cotta playing pieces. Not Song Dynasty but all hand made. The brown jar Jizhou jar has some discoloration. This white “stones” are 180 and there are 176 of the darker ones. D: 12cm/4.8in and H: 8cm/3.1in.

The cup has a soft velvet surface with shadows into a clear white tone. Very nice item. A Han style (maybe of the period) white jade cicada in simple design and carved with clean lines showing superior craftsmanship. We date it Qing Dynasty or earlier, but it was probably from Han Dynasty. Condition: there are some calcification on the tip of the wings, which caused some tiny chips; some age veins on the lower part of the cicada (please see photo #4 and #5 for details). White jade pendant stained with rust representing a goose busy washing itself. The bird is represented resting on a large lotus leaf, its head preening its dorsal feathers, gracefully curving its neck which stands out from the body and serves as a natural handle for passing the silk cord...

An wonderful and elaborate pottery figure of a female house attendant, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to c. 1550-1600 AD.

A beautiful, elderly lady, clad in a blue dress with tourquoise sleaves. She is carrying a dish with food in front of her chest. She is placed on a square plint with tourqoise glaze on the top.

Nicely painted facial details. A very fine and elegant figure from Ming dynasty, with it's careful thick glazing and fine expression.

Vintage chinese woodblock color print of Chinese tea house, called Red Frog in Shanghai by Elizabeth Keith, 1887-1956. It depicts a large tea house bustling with people; outside, a mother with her children, a bearded man, and other civilians. Inscribed on back "tea house of the red frog in shanghai by Elizabeth Keith purchased at Sojourner's B1 Army Officers 1945 Seoul, Korea Oct. 1960 R.M. Heikes" Signed lower right front with stamp EK 1924. Good condition and color.

This is a very attractive large Chinese wood box with one large and three small shishi(lion-dog) on the porcelain. Old Chinese porcelain was used for this box. It has more of an antique look than in the pictures here. Actual measurements are 8 inches wide x 10 1/4 inches long and 6 inches high.
