A Chinese porcelain jar decorated with phoenixes and flowers using under-glaze cobalt, iron-red enamel and gilt. Kangxi period. There is an old chip-repair at the rim, good antique condition other than this. Height: 6-1/4".

This handle is in cast bronze with 2 welded sides and gilded. The carving is of the best quality and the sculptur is powerful, announcing an excellent artist. It must have been part of a very large censer or vase in certainly imperial cloisonné enamel that is somewhere.Certainly Kienlong period or earlier. Hight about 22cm.

An under glaze-blue and cafe-o-lait colored Phonix medallion bowl. Qianlong mark and period. The rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a flared rim, decorated to the exterior with six phoenix roundels with wings outstretched and their tails curled underneath, the interior with one further Phonix in a roundel in the center, inscribed at the base with a four-character seal mark in under glaze blue. Small pink rock crystal teapot. It is carved with 5 dragons cut with a grinding wheel in high relief. One of them serves as a handle, another as a pouring spout and a third as a gripping fretel. The last two are flanked on either side of the teapot. The 5 dragons have a strong cultural significance in Chinese art. Wooden base, finely crafted with stylized dragons. Chinese work from the 20th century, probably from the 1960s. Good condition. 16cm x 12cm

This plaque must have been part of a scholar's screen. It is carved in a Duan stone of 2 layers of different colors. An ochre layer and a brown layer. The brown layer is carved in depth until the ochre layer appears. The decoration is thus cut in brown on an ochre background.Qing period 19° century or earlier. On the reverse side we can see the traces of the tool which should give indications for a more precise dating. Accident, broken and glued again. 206 x 302 x 8 mm
