Rare stone bust from the Sui Dynasty (581-618 CE). Piece is in fine condition, with its original whitish coating preserved. The bust depicts a solemn image of a devoted pupil or perhaps a slave, with head dress. Facial features are well carved and very effective in communicating the mood of the piece.

Minor wear and abrasion caused by age, but these do not distract from the beauty of the piece...

It was made in simple and characteristic stone-coffin form (石函型制)and the YuZi(魚子紋)marble stone which was usually found in the ancient times.

A Yaozhou incense burner or XinLu was intriguingly squeezed with five feet.
In saucer form, the body was decorated with carved motifs on the surface of the rim.
It was preserved in very good condition by nice glaze when sandy-tinted incursion were happened in portions.
One broken foot was caused during burial.
A nice restoration may do it's justice. But I would rather to leave it the buyer to decide...

A Yaozhou conical bowl was in decent look with persimmon glaze.
The glaze was covered all over the surface except to the foot ring.
The foot ring was revealed with the body clay in gray tint.
The glaze surface was reflected in retrospective sheen in old look.

A Yaozhou water dropper was presented in perfect condition.
The glaze condition was very good except some incursions had been happened to the rim of the venting hole and the beak-like mouth.
Amusingly found at the bottom, there were three padding clays were still adhered without being removed.
It was really rare to find an ancient porcelain ware which was solely for scholar use.
A similar piece but from Longquan site was documented.

This jade carving depicts two dragons, seated back to back and is, as best I can tell, the real deal. Not only are there no signs whatsoever of modern tooling, but each of the holes at the snout has been drilled from both sides, using a conical bit. The jade itself does not lie 100% flat, which would be another "telltale" of modern production. Instead, it is slightly curved.
