A tea bowl or maybe, rather, a wine bowl. The front with the combined crest of two families from the rural nobility, one is symbolized by a harrow, the other by a bunch of grapes. The back with the intertwined initials of the families joined together in marriage, surrounded by vines and grapes. China, mid or late 18th century. Diameter "3¼/ 8 cm, height "1¾/ 4,5 cm. Condition: a very small glaze flake to the mouth rim.

Description:

A rock crystal carving was well depicted as a Guanyin holding a baby.
By characteristically dated features on the faces of the deity and the baby, the figures were well carved on the robes with affluent lines.
The benign facial expression of the Guanyin and the smiling face of the baby were well rendered by excellent traditional craftsmanship.
The rock crystal here was not in pure transparent look...

A set of Mandarin squares, comprising a front and a back, dating around 1900. Insignia for a court official's wife, with appliqued silver pheasant bird, denoting the fifth rank. Gold and silver metallic threads couched on violetta silk, lined with blue silk. Condition: traces of age, little faded, back badge with short tear (please see photo # 10), lining little stained. A Set of Three Small Thai Market Chinese Canton Enamel Cosmetic Boxes 19thC The dark blue enamel with gilt decoration. The interiors with turquoise enamel and the bases with paler blue. Two boxes with composition finials. Chinese 19thC. Diameters: 6.2, 5.3 and 4.1 cm. Condition: some wear to gilding, minor small chips and a flake. The actual colour of the enamel is darker than in the images.

Diameter approximately 40 cm. There are some very soft chips at the saucers. It doesn't matter. There are glue marks on the bottom, possibly glued to the box, not including the box. More pictures are available. In good condition.

Ash color SONG DYNASTY and Period Celadon with rib like ridge design from top to bottom, 2 loops, bottom/foot not glazed, small chip at lip/opening and a firing imperfection, condition otherwise good, size: H. 7.5cm x 9.5 cm diameter

Cast bronze vase decorated with three handles in the form of masks of mythological creatures, carrying a trunk and large ears probably inspired by an elephant. The cast work is beautiful and the finish is neat. On the lower and upper edges, two very elegant Greek friezes are discreetly and finely incised in silver. The edge of the vase is slightly split, but you can still put water in it. A nice original patina confirms the age of the object, probably 19th century or earlier...

A very rare genuine Silver OPIUM BOX-ROLLER-DRUM, QING DYNASTY, 19th Century, China, with beautiful refined engravings of flowers, a bird and foliage. Size: height 2" x 1 1/2" diameter (5 x 4 cm. diameter). Base is stamped in Chinese. Very difficult to find nowadays, Opium Collector's item!
