Sold Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Lamp Vase with Scholars and Landscape Signed, Late 19th Century
The vases alone are 16.5 inches (41.9 cm) tall by 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide. They are 6 Lb. They are in good condition no repairs, chips, or cracks, except holes drilled at the bottom, retouched and repainted by the manufacture at one vase's corner, and another vase has a foot slightly filed (as seen in the photos)...

SOLD Chinese antique agate snuff bottle, converted by a French artist into a striker (lighter) with the addition of a silver bottom and rim with details of irises, dragon flies and butterflies. The silver work has a distinct art nouveau style to it, the lid is made of orange agate, silver and coral.

Large and heavy Chinese late Qing dynasty scholar's hardwood box (guanpixiang) suitable for holding documents, seals, ink sticks, and other desktop items. This form of furniture was originally constructed as a jewelry box for ladies, but was also used later as a scholar's box. A removable panel on the front lifts to reveal two narrow document trays at the top, five drawers in the mid-section, and one narrow document tray at the bottom...

The figures portrayed represent the story of Liulang Zhiniu (the cowherd and the weaver maid), in which a humble cowherd falls in love with a fairy (the weaver maid)... Three Chinese late Qing dynasty to Republic period robin's egg (called lu Jun, or "furnace Jun") glazed porcelain scholar's desk articles including a hexagonal form water pot with an applied qilong climbing on the side (about 3" diameter by 2 1/8" high), a ribbon bound triple-gourd vase with three openings (4 1/2" high), and a rectangular brush holder in the form of a stove (2 3/8"L x 1 3/4"D x 1 3/4"H)...

Bordered with a woven band, with cotton ribbon and lining. Condition: very good, few glass beads are lost. Dimension: case: 32.2 cm long x 7.8 cm wide.
