Chinese late Qing dynasty Han style lady's jacket with a deep blue silk brocade background woven with bats among clouds. The sleeve bands are embroidered with cranes among branches laden with fruit and flowers set against a white ground bordered with woven ribbon accents. The collar, side closure, and ruyi head-form hem are all embroidered with butterflies and stylized flowers edged in yellow silk and ribbons set against a white ground. Five floral form metal buttons secure the side closure...

A well potted rouleau vase finely decorated with famille verte enamel, depicting Zhongkui gathering with his younger sister in a garden, not far from them under a sycamore tree, a goblin is taking care of Zhongkui's nephew. Late 19th century, Guangxu period. The vase is in excellent condition, the only flaw is some old chips inside the foot rim. Height: 43 cm.

A massive white glazed porcelain vase decorated with gourds, grapes, pomegranates and other auspicious motifs in high relief techniques. A six characters "Daqing Guanxu Nianzhi" seal mark is inscribed on the shoulder, and of the period. Condition: losses; minor kiln faults. Chinese monochrome yellow Peking Glass brush pot. Historically, many pieces of Peking glass were made with yellow glass (dubbed "Imperial Yellow") due to the colors' strong association with the Qing Imperial clan of Aisin Gioro. The glass was commonly used in vases and brush pots where it was used to imitate the harder to work jade and other precious stones.

This traditional summer weight Manchu style (side closing)vest is from late Qing Dynasty. The lush deep blue silk fabric has a jacquard weave with an all over fret design. The lining is of deep maroon silk..the vest is entirely hand sewn, and fits a small to medium size woman.

This pair of black silk lotus shoes date to the late Qing Dynasty. Back then, a woman's job was to make shoes for the members of her family. This woman was from a financially comfortable family with servants to do other household chores. Making this pair for herself, she choose a black silk satin fabric for the vamp and made an elegantly sloping sole which would accommodate separate inter changeable heels to be attached...
