Chinese Sui / Early Tang Dynasty Glazed Pottery Figure

This pottery figure was made during either the Sui Dynasty (AD 581 - 618) or the early part of the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). The figure stands alert, wearing a long flowing robe with hands clasped across its chest.

It is "heavily-potted" and made from a relatively highly-fired creamy-white pottery...

A very well carved and inscribed wooden tablet made for use in the family house, on the ancestor´s altar for worshipping of the deceased husband . This â€spirit tablet†has the name of the man, Chun Fa from Lin Prefecture , and the name of the donor, the respectful wife Niang, born Song. In the inside it says that Chun Fa was born in the cyclical year of XianFeng, eleventh month, ninth day =1850, lived forty two years and died in the cyclical year of Guangxu 1891...

Antique Chinese bitong (brush pot) carved of huanghuali wood with mythical chilong creatures. Undulating edges around the rim seem to unfurl. The lower portion is carved with a cusped edge and three low feet. Beautiful grain.

Stunning Chinese Buddha Head made of natural stone, late Qing Dynasty (1626-1911). It comes on a custom made natural stone stand and has a total weight of 18,8 KG.

The Buddha Head is in great antique condition. The natural stone base has a small flaking at the back left, which is hardly visible.

An octagonal wooden box with hinged lid, the interior with original pewter tea caddy, original key. Finely painted in two different gold tones showing scenes with figurines in courtyards, on a black lacquered ground. Condition: fine quite pristine, few traces of usage, the lock seems not to work. Circa 1820-1840 large table size rock crystal snuff bottle. Superbly done with the greatest skills depicting carvings of birds, foliage, and a Qilin mythical beast. The bottle rests on a fine custom rosewood stand that is also expertly produced. In the 2nd photo, it is shown next to a normal rose quartz snuff bottle so you can compare its large size.
