Rare and slender Silver/Paktong Opium Pipe, QING Dynasty. The damper/bowl is in the shape of a poppy/opium bulb and is held by a hand. This hand holding the bulb/damper has a very distinct double fish engraved on it's base which in Feng Shui is the symbol of wealth, abundance and attracting good luck (see photograph #4). The opposite face of the bottle has an inscription derived from the noted Tang Dynasty poet, Cao Song. The poem is from the Quan Tang Si collection of Chinese poetry and the poetry is five character four line verse which ends midway. Three small so-called Kitchen Qing jars with under-glaze blue decoration of sweet pea vines and flowers. Probably used as medicine bottles, 19th century. Height "2 – 2¼/ 5,3 – 6,1 cm. Condition: fine.

A tea bowl with iron red decoration of seal script and other characters. With slightly flaring and brown-glazed rim and a shop mark in under-glaze blue. First half of the 18th century. Height "2/ 5 cm, diameter "3½/ 9 cm Condition: fine.

Chinese export Imari plate, early 18th c. Outer border of scroll-work, the well with a bird and a blossoming tree motif within a diaper border, all in under-glaze blue and iron red and gilt over the glaze. Diameter "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: some wear to the well and a 2 mm nick or glaze burst to the rim (cf. photos).

Han Dynasty pottery vase. Authentic and of the period, 221 B.C. to 206 A.D. In the photos, you can see the firing supports that are still intact, as well as the oxidation of the lead glaze, with the silver bleeding through to the surface, all of which lend to its authenticity. It is worth noting that there are several incised bands around the circumference of the jar. Measures approximately 17” (43.2 cm)tall and 10” diameter at widest.

A beautifully rendered statue of Lu Xing, the Chinese God of Wealth and one of the 3 Star Gods. Richly painted in bright floral patterns and scrolling tendrils, it is in excellent condition. There are hole piercings in the ears and nose areas of Lu, and ear piercings in the child. C The sculpture measures 17" or 43.17 cm high and dates to the late Qing. Circa 1900. Marked on bottom.
