A large and rare example of a pottery model of a sedan chair made during the 16th century (c.1550 - 1600), made from a hard creamy-white pottery and coated in the "fahua" palette of complimentary aubergine and turquoise coloured glazes. A stoneware jar was preserved in an original condition. Being applied with olive-green glaze on the the body, the jar or Hu was molded with a trumpet-like mouth and stand on a flat bottom. Two well- mold loops were nicely pressed to the body as handles. Decorations of incised wave bands were around the mouth while grooved patterns were carved around the body in the middle segment. Black hue was affected to the slender neck and the mouth portion...

Unique clear glass Sino Tibetan image of a Dakini, most likely cast from a mold. Basically even with the usual clay images it is problematic dating them as the molds may be old but the item recently made, this piece has traces of compacted soil, surface pitting and wear, as well as small Ming Dynasty Buddhist and Taoist clear glass charms having been documented, I feel a circa 100 year plus is a conservative dating...

The top and bottom borders are done in a royal blue cobalt contrasted by a turquoise backdrop entwined with golden wire. This wonderful item is dated to the late 19th century and stands 4 inches tall.

A marble sculpture of a disciple was well done in 5th/6th of Northern Qi periods. He was part of a big shrine. A debris as this one can till be a treasuring piece and being used as a paper weight. Some gold finish rubbed off around the rim and small floral decorated area in the center. No damage or restoration.

$400.00 Just simply stunning, this beautiful Chinese Asian celadon vase dates to the 14th century, it is in perfect shape save a small piece of broken shard that attached itself when some other vessel exploded in the kiln. Other than that, no cracks, hairlines, or other damage is found. Notice the comb lines and well potted sleek. Measures 4 inches high and about 2.5" at widest.
Chinese Qing dynasty Yongzheng to Qianlong period round form deep plate decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with a central panel of lotus flowers and leaves surrounded by a band of peonies and scrolling foliage extending around the well. A similar band decorates the exterior. The base and foot rim are unglazed. 11” diameter x 2” high. 18th century. Very good overall condition. There are original production flaws along the rim (see enlargement 11)...
