A large, Museum Quality pottery figure of a male attendant carrying a bag over his shoulder. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour green and yellow glazed robe.

He wears a head dress. Finely hand painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures...

Red pottery with a turquoise glaze, with moulded decoration of peonies. Apart from some chips to the mouth rim this censer is in a very good condition. H. 15 cm, diameter 12 cm. Width from handle to handle 18 cm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

A well-carved ivory snuff bottle depicting two of the sixteen Buddhist Arhat. The bottle is undoubtedly carved in Japan as the neck is made from a separate piece of ivory and screws into the body of the bottle. The carving style suits the subject matter and the bottle has a pleasing patina from handling. There is an unidentified studio marking on the base.

Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period porcelain crocus vase with five lobes around a central cylindrical neck terminating in a bulb, decorated in the Hawthorn pattern with white branches of prunus blossoms set against a cobalt “cracked ice” ground. An unusual bone handle dagger decorated with a turquoise stone and silver a copper fittings. The sheath is made of silver with a woven silver chain attached to the knife. There is piece of "stingray skin" wrapped around the middle. There is one turquoise stone decorating the sheath with two red (resin) stones that originally were red coral.The blade is made of steel. Age: late 19th Century to early 20th. Size: 17.5cm. Condition: No repairs.
