$1500.00 Descriptions:
A granite head piece was well preserved. With characteristic facial features, the stone piece was retained on the surface with old conditions that only ancient time can cause. Date: Tang Dynasty (AD618-907) , Height without stand: 14 cm Statue of Duowen Tian Wang, the Heavenly King of the North, elaborately dressed, wearing a diadem, holding the end of a ribbon with his left hand and a Buddhist scepter resting on a lotus in his right hand. The statue is standing on an square pedestal. The piece was originally lacquered, painted and gilt. Part of the lacquering is flaked, revealing the bronze oxydation. The statue was cast in China during the early Qing Dynasty, in the 18th century. Height: 37 cm. Very good condition.

In very good condition there are a few age cracks which do not affect the integrity of the piece. There is some glue residue on the bottom where she was attached to an old lamp base. $1,400.00 A Ming cast-iron figure of Vairocana, the Dharmakaya Buddha, the most important of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, the one from whom the other emanate from; his name means "luminous" or "embodiment of light”.
He is sitting on a lotus throne, holding his hands in Abisheka Mudra (consecration gesture). On the back side there is a dedication: donated by the Li family. Ming Dynasty, 1368–1644. H. 27.
