Good brush painting of a tiger by the artist Li Shou Lin dated 1978. Painted in the traditional style water color and ink mounted on silk and heavy paper. Unfortunately the mounting paper has suffered mold damage while the painting itself was affected in a minor way in the form of some discoloration, having said this if framed with new matting the flaw is very negligible. Good representation in the style of Lin Rongqian’s cursive calligraphy, as a Mandarin: Fu Lu/Cantonese: Fuk. This is a gift given to someone to congratulate them and wish them financial success in their career. This is a scroll mounted painted meant to be hung horizontally. A Rare 蔡沈Manuscript 書經集傳序 of Song Dynasty was found.
It was in Chinese calligraphy on an old manually made paper.
It is very hard for me to authenticate if it was from Song dynasty or from later dates.
But I would like to present it as an old Chinese calligraphy work of art at least from 19th centuries.

Chinese yellow Crackle ware Pottery Brush Washer and brush Holder, Ca. pre 1920, 1 5/8" high-maximum measurement, 2 3/4" wide,1 3/4" deep-maximum measurement, with crackled yellowish beige color glaze, a high relief frog beside rock garden on the top next to a round hole 3/8" diameter to hold a single brush. This crackle ware Brush Washer has glaze crack and few glaze flake frits on the glaze.

Old wooden stand acquired from a US expat estate in 1987, this was made between 1950 and 1980. The legs are inserted. Minor natural “check” in the top, and this piece is sort of shaped like Australia (no extra charge). 14cm/5.5in x 10cm/4cm and 4cm/1.6in.
