Late Qing Dynasty Porcelain with underglaze cobalt blue Height: 56.8 cm / 22.4 in From a Vero Beach, Florida estate A 22.4 inch tall late Qing floor vase, powerfully painted with a dragon hidden within clouds, flying over a carp emerging from the ocean waves. Jingdezhen potters created the scattered clouds by blowing cobalt pigment onto the vase through a straw... Pair of beautiful small porcelain plates decorated with scrolling vines and blue flowers. Details in blue, light green, red and gold. 6 character marks on the bottom state that the dishes are from the reign of Guangxu (1875-1908). Qing Dynasty mark and period.
Size of each: 5 3/8" wide diameter.

Sold in our Liverpool shop - April 2019 / 利物浦店内售出 - 2019年4 月 A rare small wine cup painted with stylized lotus scrolls in underglaze blue. The base carries the six character mark of the Guangxu emperor and it was made during his reign (1875-1908).
Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoraton.
5.5cm (2.2 inches) diameter; 3cm (1.2 inches) high.

*SOLD* to U.S.A. December 2017 A rare finely painted pair of underglaze blue decorated dragon and phoenix 'wedding' dishes made in Jingdezhen, southern China, and exported to Europe in the late 19th or early 20th Century during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908).
Condition: there are some production iron marks;there is a 1.5cm hairline visible on the back of the phoenix dish and there is a light 2.5cm hairline to the rim of the dragon dish...
