A small Chinese export porcelain foo dog done in the Sancai colors of brown, green, and yellow. The dog is standing on a pedestal with a puppy under his left foot. The figurine is marked "CHINA" on it's flat base. The dog measures about 7 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" wide. The condition is excellent with thickly applied enamels. This decorative pottery tile was made during the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912). It is made from a dense grey pottery.
