ca. 1860-90s, latter half of the 19th century Tongzhi-Guangxu Period, Qing Dynasty Porcelain with overglaze famille rose enamels Height: 36 cm / 14.2 in From a Greenwich, CT estate This vase is lavishly painted with a young wife and nine sons in a garden, flanked with landscape scenes, dragons in relief, and a faux wrapped cloth... Large Chinese late Qing Guangxu period cylindrical form censer decorated in underglaze blue against a white porcelain ground with a faint blue-green tint with a pair of four-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl above waves. The interior is glazed while the base is unglazed. 7 1/2" high x 8" diameter. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small amount of staining to the interior.

Zentner Collection
Sale Pending Antique Chinese porcelain bowl of a thin form, with gilt rim and yellow enamel inner rim with peaches and lucky bats. The inside center has a red dragon with gilt accenting. The outer body of the bowl has two colorful powder blue and pink-red dragons flying over waters. The bottom of the bowl is marked Guangxu period (1875-1908). Very small loss on rim.
