Unique Vintage Jadeite Belt Hook. Beautiful matrix within the stone and light pastel colors range from tan and celadon at the head of dragon. Gradually turns to celadon and lavender towards the hook area. From the Republic Period, Circa 1950's. Dimensions: 4" Long X .5" in Width

Intricate Jade Nephrite carving of crane and flower setting in a bed of dense reeds. Light green color with red variation in some areas. Oval shaped, this piece was originally designed to sit among a wood carved urn in a Chinese temple. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Dimensions: 4.5" High X 7" Long

A highly desirable Chinese jade coup, shaped as a lotus leaf with flower blossoms decorating the handle and body. The stone is of an even tone with a slight hint of russet. This is a very attractive composition of the "caged" style and measures 5 1/2inches ( 14 cm) wide. In excellent condition. Age: Ming 17 C.

Antique Chinese exquisite jade water brush washer. In the form of an oval, decorated around ends with traditional carvings of gourds, representing a good luck charm of longevity. Articulated budding flowers, with vines and leaves surround and curve around the body of the container. Presented on a dark wood carved stand with intricate carvings of leaves.

Antique Chinese pair of dark green jade vases, with dark and light flecking throughout, allover incised spiraling designs with leaves, four squared panels, each with stylized carvings of vegetation with rock formations that are transparent when viewed from the inside of the vase. A well carved hardwood figure of an emmaciated aescetic, probably depicting the Chinese Daoist Immortal Li Tieguai. This item was made in China, probably for export, during either the late 19th or early 20th century. Condition: there is a small old chip to one finger and an old age crack to the base; otherwise excellent. 27cm (10.5 inches} high.

A wonderful statue of the Bodhisattva Kwan Yin carved from precious aloeswood. The distinct and pleasant fragrance of aloeswood is the result of a special kind of mould and is highly treasured for its use in incense and perfumes among various Eastern religions.
